Cast iron and steel in one fireplace - the perfect solution

A unique and very ingenious solution based on the use of two types of material: steel and cast iron in the construction of the furnace. Steel was used in construction places. Cast iron, due to its properties (high temperature resistance, quick heating, long heat dissipation time), has been used in places where the effect of temperature is the highest: the front body with the door and the upper heating plate (additionally equipped with a cooker - removable disc cast iron). Description of functionality

1. The upper exhaust outlet is equipped with an adjustable damper, i.e. a throttle. It is used to regulate the thrust, which changes the efficiency of the fireplace. With the damper open, the chimney draft is the largest, causing the fuel to burn quickly and increasing the power of the fireplace, with the damper closed, the chimney draft and combustion speed are reduced. We offer all accessories for the discharge of exhaust gases.

2. Cast iron front body with a door to increase the efficiency of the furnace and aesthetic value. The combination of steel and cast iron looks very original and is perfect for everyday use. The use of cast iron in the "hotest" places is advisable because it increases the efficiency and durability of the furnace. The furnace uses very high-quality cast iron, proven for many years.

3. A cast iron heating plate with a pot allows you to turn the stove into a "coal cooker", because thanks to the cast iron heating plate you can easily cook food quickly.

4. Clean glass system - thanks to the construction of the hearth (the use of a cast-iron front and fireclay bricks), a very high combustion temperature is created inside the combustion chamber. The use of a deflector that stops and burns exhaust gases results in a significant reduction of glass contamination during the entire combustion process. Additionally, air supply openings located above the glass in the cast-iron body supply air to the furnace (the air sucked in runs right next to the glass), reducing its contamination.

5. Sealed oven door - the door closure is sealed with a heat resistant cord for added safety. Cast-iron loading door and a fire-pot (the possibility of adding fuel from the top) ensure very easy loading of even very large logs of wood.

6. A strong steel handle with a closure is a proven and good solution ensuring quick, safe and comfortable use of the stove. A steel handle with an interesting shape emphasizes the modern form of the stove. Made of steel, it is very durable.

7. Japanese heat-resistant glass up to 800 ° C - ensures safe use of the stove even at very high temperatures. The use of high-quality heat-resistant glass and the exhaust deflector to increase the temperature of the exhaust gases significantly reduce the soiling of the glass during the combustion process - the glass remains clean for longer.

8. Deflector - the so-called "Smoke shelf" located at the top of the stove. What does an exhaust deflector do? First of all, it causes that the heated air from the combustion chamber does not go directly to the chimney. The BLIST stove is a new generation stove and it has a secondary combustion chamber, i.e. a smoke shelf. The process of burning fuel particles that have not been burned before takes place there. The additional heat generated in this process increases the efficiency and performance of the furnace. The cooled and less polluted exhaust gas goes to the chimney. According to the calculations of the furnace manufacturers, the deflector increases the efficiency by about 30%.

9. The furnace is surrounded by a thick steel body filled with fireclay bricks - the furnace is the heart of the furnace, which is made of thick, certified p265gh and 16M06 boiler sheets with a thickness of # 6mm. Additionally, the furnace is lined with fireclay bricks, which have the following properties: high resistance and durability, and excellent heat accumulation properties. Fireclay is the most frequently chosen material for the construction or lining of fireplaces due to its properties.

10. Removable ash pan - located below the combustion chamber, it ensures quick, easy and trouble-free operation of the stove.

11. Circular regulation of the combustion rate by regulating the air supply located in the front cast iron body. This system of air supply to the combustion chamber of the stove maximizes its efficiency. The air is brought under the grate, which facilitates and supports the combustion process. Closing or opening the holes translates into a reduction or increase in the burning rate.
